Description
Proud is my first successful full-sized horse painting. I remember being so shocked and happy to discover that I really could(!) draw horses! For many years I had this psychological block thinking that I just simiply couldn't do it. But I gave it a go, and I was so happy it turned out! 
He's an Andalusian stallion being shown in a halter class, but shall remain un-background-less until I learn more about how to do the darn things. xP
One of these days I need to go back and redo dat poor face though. >.> It needs some painting love.
Miiight wanna view it at fullsize, the smaller version isn't as crisp.

Awesome! You really have a great sense for anatomy form and function, as well as visual asthetics!.
I totally get the mental block problem. I used to avoid trying to draw people and only drew florals or animals. Now I'm pushing myself to do people and finding out that I can to the point that I actually look forward to the next portrait challenge.
